Directions to the Center:

Arriving by Car:
- From the north or south, take NYS Thruway (I-87)to Exit 19 (Kingston).
- From the tollbooths take the immediate right onto NY Route 28 West (toward Pine Hill) for a 36 mile drive through the mountains.
- Look for the Pine Hill entrance on your left, but DO NOT turn in. Continue on Rte. 28 uphill.
- About ¾ of the way up, look for the Birchcreek Retreat sign on your right. Turn right at the sign and follow the long winding drive into the woods.-Veer left at the bottom of the hill and proceed toward the 2 buildings.
-Stop at the main entrance on your right for check in.



Arriving by Train (Amtrak or Metro North)
Car service is available for guests arriving by train to Rhinecliff, NY. This service must be reserved in advance. Please see car service info below.

Arriving by Bus:
Adirondack Trailways (845-339-4230) leaves NY's Port Authority terminal daily. Request a special stop at Pine Hill. If you select this travel method, please inform us so that you can be picked up at the stop.

Arriving by Plane:
The closest are Albany International (ALB), a little over one hour to the north, and Stewart International (SWF), located about one hour south, in Newburgh. Shuttle service is available from airports directly to the Retreat. Please call the car service number below to reserve. A fee is charged.

Guests flying into New York City via John F. Kennedy (JFK), LaGuardia (LGA), or Newark (EWR) airports can continue travel by rental car or private car service (must be reserved in advance). Birchcreek Retreat is about 2-1/2 hour drive from these airports. Or guests can make their way into Manhattan and connect with either Adirondack Trailways bus at Port Authority or Metro North train service at Penn Station.

Additional air service is available via Westchester County (HPN) airport in White Plains, NY - about two hours from Birchcreek.
